Who are we?
CodingGirls is a non-profit organization that inspires, unites and empowers girls to achieve their ambitions in the technology world.
Why we do what we do?
Computing is the future, we believe that programming and other technical skills are a tool of empowerment. However, in US, only 18% of computer science majors are women. When it comes to work, the number is worse.
CodingGirls aims to close the gender gap in technology, we aim to inspire girls to be confident, passionate and successful in technology by showing real life models, offering them learning resource and networking opportunities.
What Do We Do?
We empower you to re-define yourself by showing examples, facilitating your self-growth and uniting likely minds to foster a supportive community.
We want to make learning programming accessible. We designed for tech newbies on a project/product basis. We engage engineers, developers and entrepreneurs to teach and motivate girls to code.
Engaging, relevant content developed and delivered by industry leading experts. These onstage demos offer a mind-blowing peek at where technology is taking us.
We connect you with female experts, entrepreneurs who are leaders in their domain as your mentors, so that you can be inspired and inspiring.

All Coding Class have a 4:1 ratio which means that for every four learners there’s one volunteer mentor to help them. If you’re technical with experience with programming or design mentoring is a really rewarding way to give back.
